My M.I.L Joan “The Dinosaur”, is a huge part of not just the Logo but the even bigger need I felt to find a way to GIVE ALL I COULD!

My name is Melissa Gorsuch, and I was born and raised in Vegas. I met my husband Mike in 2015, and our blended family consists of 4 amazing kids. I have been in the Service Industry for 30years and my love for Fundraising has always been a part of me, need a Gift Basket or a Donation, I’m in! Joan becomes a big part of this story because she was a school teacher in Pittsburgh and had traveled all over the world, teaching and learning and giving life lessons to so many. She is 1 of my many Idols as there was Nothing she wouldn’t do, like jumping off the boat into freezing cold waters for the “Real Polar Plunge.”

I didn’t always have my life together growing up and honestly, who does, but that left me needing help at times. I don't know if I would be here if it wasn’t for people, programs, family, friends, and shelters. From being homeless at one point to being mentally and physically abused in relationships, I have come out of those darkness's stronger because of help from others. I have a large family, and in all their own ways, they have been my Idols. the amount of support I have is incredible, and sharing that with others is priceless. My plan is to bring awareness and connect people to all the Non-Profits here in the “Springs” first and then one day maybe Worldwide.
