Porchlight Friends

Nearly 30,000 older adults in El Paso County self-identify as socially isolated and lonely. Social isolation isn’t just a feeling, it increases the risk of dementia, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, depression, anxiety, and even suicide. 

Porchlight Friends relies on grants and community donations to support our Friends Fund Scholarship. This fund allows us to provide no-cost services to lower-income seniors who otherwise couldn’t afford care
